Plainsong by Kent Haruf, The Book of Eve by Constance Beresford-Howe, To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf, De Niro’s Game by Rawi Hage, The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, Three Junes by Julia Glass, our summer read was War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, The Birth House by Ami McKay, and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.
We read some of the classics as well as some current books.
